When my mom had dementia I studied everything I could find on it. And some think it's when we stopped cooking in cast iron and eating off silver utensils. Soda started coming out in aluminum cans vrs glass. Tupperware was the rage, Teflon coated aluminum pans etc. collidal silver is so popular now too. she's gone on to be with the Lord but it scares me to death I'll have it so I do cook in cast iron and I opened her box of silverware and serving ware and i eat off of them daily. I use the butter knives and serving spoons, all of it.
